Gary grew up helping his Dad run a small business, he has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Music Business from prestigious Belmont University, and is a 30-year business owner himself.

 A typical event with Gary hosting will have him dressed as formally or casually as the event  and client dictate, with his guitar, harmonicas, and sometimes piano never far away. He will be interacting via music, comedy, and with a more serious, professional tone when appropriate. He will be making introductions via custom songs

, some improvised “on the spot” (his specialty-to the audiences delight), and performing short comedy songs, custom songs with company themes, comedic bits or sharing stories and regional musical anecdotes that are relevant to the theme and move the event along.
